Welcome to Trinity Ventures, where purpose-driven investments fuel the growth of impactful businesses.
Founded in 2014 by Sandrina Postorino and Chris Ellis, our venture capital firm is dedicated to nurturing unlisted, high-growth businesses that have a positive impact on society and the environment.
At Trinity Ventures, our core mission is to invest in businesses poised to address pressing environmental and social challenges.
We primarily target high-growth, unlisted Australian startups with strong founders. Yet, our portfolio also includes mature stage companies, both domestic and international, always with an eye on generating profit while driving positive change.
Sandrina, Co-Founder and Managing Director, brings a wealth of experience from her corporate strategy background. She is also Managing Director of Crissan Property Pty Ltd, a property investment and development company operating in New South Wales and Victoria, and serves on multiple Not-For-Profit boards, including Take3 for the Sea, The Conflict Island Conservation Initiative (CICI) and the Rona Ellis Foundation.
Chris is an experienced mining executive with over 50 years’ experience in geology, exploration, mine planning and project development in Australia and overseas. He was a founding member and Executive Director of Excel Coal Limited which was the subject of a take-over bid by the US coal giant Peabody Energy Inc in 2006.
He has been a Director of AusQuest Limited since 1997 and is an Executive Director of Group 6 Metals (G6M), which are both listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Envirospheres Pty Ltd.
At Trinity Ventures, we believe that the greatest investments are those that deliver profound benefits not just to shareholders, but to society and our environment.
Trinity Ventures requires all investments to meet a high standard regarding their impact on society and the environment.
In many instances, this is exceeded - with many of our investments having a core objective of solving enviro-social problems.
